We would like to inform all clients of a temporary access issue affecting some cPanel service subdomains, including:

webmail.yourdomain.com
cpanel.yourdomain.com
whm.yourdomain.com

This follows a recently disclosed cPanel/WHM authentication vulnerability. According to the official cPanel advisory, the issue was responsibly disclosed and there is currently no indication that it is being actively exploited.

As a precaution, temporary restrictions were applied to some cPanel, WHM and Webmail access routes while security patches were completed. This may temporarily affect access through service subdomains such as webmail.yourdomain.com.

Please note that your website is not affected. Email sending and receiving are also not affected. Hosting files, databases and email accounts remain intact. The issue only affects some access routes used to open cPanel, WHM or Webmail.

You can still access Webmail using any of the following formats:

https://yourdomain.com/webmail
https://yourdomain.com:2096

The security patching process has already been completed, and work is ongoing to fully restore normal service subdomain access such as webmail.yourdomain.com, cpanel.yourdomain.com and whm.yourdomain.com.

We advise clients to use the alternative Webmail access links above until the normal service subdomains are fully restored.
